Creative FIT

See Your Pattern

Creative FIT is a fast, guided assessment built to surface the natural strengths, motivations, and tendencies that already shape how you think, create, and lead, before any coaching, mentoring, or consulting begins.

Most people carry patterns they've never had named. Creative FIT doesn't teach new skills; it holds up a mirror. Through a short, focused set of questions, it identifies the strengths you rely on without noticing, the motivations driving your best work, and the tendencies that quietly shape your decisions.

The value of Creative FIT isn't the report itself. It's the clarity that follows: a starting point precise enough to know which path, whether coaching, mentoring, consulting, or something else entirely, is the right next step.

Coaching

Develop the Lens

Coaching is a structured leadership development process designed to improve clarity, decision-making, and performance. At its best, coaching does not provide answers. It helps people discover answers they could not yet see for themselves.

Our coaches are trained and certified in the disciplines of inquiry, observation, and guided reflection. Through purposeful questions, leaders begin recognizing assumptions, blind spots, competing priorities, and hidden constraints that may have been shaping their decisions for years without awareness. Often the breakthrough is not discovering something new. It is finally seeing something that was there all along.

Most efforts to improve performance focus on changing behavior. Coaching begins one step earlier. It develops the clarity from which better decisions and more effective actions naturally emerge.

Mentoring

Borrow Experience

Mentoring is the transfer of experience from one leader to another. Where coaching develops awareness through discovery, mentoring contributes perspective earned through responsibility, setbacks, growth, and time.

Some lessons require personal experience. Others become visible through the experience of those who have already faced similar circumstances. Mentoring provides access to patterns, observations, and insights that often take years to develop independently. It shortens the distance between challenge and understanding.

The value of mentoring extends beyond specific answers. Over time, it develops a deeper capacity to recognize situations, anticipate consequences, and navigate complexity with greater confidence and judgment.

Workshops

Build the Map

Workshops are focused collaborative sessions designed to transform intelligence into alignment and alignment into action.

Most groups already possess the experience, expertise, and insight required to solve their most important challenges. What is often missing is a process that allows those perspectives to surface, connect, and become actionable. Through facilitated dialogue, systems thinking, visual mapping, and structured problem solving, participants uncover patterns, clarify priorities, and build shared understanding.

Whether addressing strategy, governance, organizational design, conflict, or complex decision-making, workshops help groups see more collectively than any individual could see alone. Participants leave with greater clarity, stronger alignment, and a practical path forward built together.

Capacity Blueprint

The Captain's Method Intensive

Learn to Navigate

The Captain's Method Leadership Intensive is a four-month immersion into the disciplines of Navigational Leadership. It emerged through decades of observation, experimentation, leadership practice, organizational consulting, entrepreneurship, and the study of how expertise is formed.

The program is built upon a simple insight: leaders act on what they see. The quality of judgment is influenced by the quality of perception. When important patterns remain unseen, even capable people can make poor decisions. When those patterns become visible, better choices often follow naturally.

Participants learn to recognize recurring patterns in leadership, culture, strategy, execution, communication, decision-making, and human behavior. You graduate as part of an elite group of 8–12 emerging leaders, and development continues through deeper levels of mastery as you grow and your organization expands.

Management Consulting

Strengthen the Ship

Management consulting applies the principles of leadership and organizational development to the practical realities of running an organization. Every organization encounters challenges involving people, systems, strategy, execution, culture, succession, and growth. While the circumstances may differ, many of the underlying dynamics are remarkably consistent.

The Captain's Method approaches consulting through the lens of pattern recognition. Rather than focusing exclusively on visible symptoms, we seek to understand the conditions producing them.

By strengthening leadership capability, organizational alignment, operational systems, and strategic clarity, organizations become better equipped to navigate complexity, adapt to change, and sustain performance over time. The objective is enduring capability, not temporary answers.

Strategic Growth Partnerships

Embedded Capability. Shared Outcomes.

Some challenges cannot be solved through training, coaching, or advisory services alone. They require capability that does not yet exist inside the organization.

Strategic Growth Partnerships are designed for organizations seeking more than recommendations. Through selective partnerships, we embed experienced leaders, operators, and specialists directly into the business to accelerate growth, increase execution capacity, and develop lasting organizational capability.

Unlike a traditional consultant who works from the outside, our partners work alongside your team, helping create results while transferring the knowledge, skills, systems, and leadership capacity required for long-term success.

Because these engagements are built around value creation, partnership structures may include advisory fees, performance incentives, revenue participation, equity participation, or other forms of shared alignment.

Engagements begin at $1,500 per day, structured as a monthly retainer against the days committed each week. Where a partner takes on shared upside (profit participation or equity), the day rate is reduced accordingly: the more ownership in the outcome, the less exchanged in cash.

Some organizations need more than a partner working alongside their team. They need someone temporarily inside the seat itself, while a permanent leader is found or a structural problem is worked through. These embedded leadership placements include:

Interim CEO: when an organization needs continuity and clear direction during a leadership transition, a founder's departure, or a period of significant change.

Interim COO: when a business has strategy and demand but is losing time and margin to internal friction. The day-to-day execution needs a steady, experienced hand while the underlying operating rhythm is rebuilt.

Second-in-Command: placed alongside an existing, high-energy leader to translate vision into repeatable execution: a structural partner, not a replacement.

These placements are scoped and priced the same way as every Strategic Growth Partnership: a defined engagement, a day rate or shared-upside structure, and a clear handoff once the organization no longer needs the seat filled from outside.

Train-the-Trainer

Preserve the Craft

Every enduring discipline continues because it is intentionally passed forward. Train-the-Trainer prepares experienced, certified practitioners to teach the framework, develop future leaders, certify new practitioners, and steward the methodology for future generations.

The program extends beyond the transfer of information. Particular attention is given to judgment, facilitation, teaching, and the responsible development of others.

Every Train-the-Trainer candidate completes their practicum hours through Certified FIT, teaching the Creative FIT framework in social-impact settings, including alongside ReCreate Foundation. It's a required part of advancing within the company, not a separate program: everyone who reaches this stage gives back through it.
